While studying Media, Communication & Sociology, Paul specialized in film and new media, organized film festivals, worked as a film journalist, funded a film production company and produced several short films.
After finishing his studies he participated in the Professional Media Masterclass (PMMC) and then continued his drive to research and discover innovative tools for the film industry with his publication “DOK & CROWD”. It’s the first handbook on documentaries including crowdfunding, VOD and social media marketing to connect with audiences. In 2017 he participated in the Torino Film Lab “Audience Design” program.
Throughout the last years he consulted and supervised marketing and crowdfunding campaigns for his clients and developed individual strategies to bring films and audience together. Paul has given 50+ workshops and lectures on Film, Marketing & Crowdfunding for universities, film festivals and companies in Europe and abroad.
