Jens Eder
Professor / Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLFJens Eder is a professor of dramaturgy and aesthetics at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. He teaches media studies with a focus on storytelling and its effects on viewers and society. His current research examines video activism on the social web. He has written books about narrative structure, characters, emotions, and the political uses of visual media. From 2002 to 2016, he taught media studies in Hamburg, Mainz, and Mannheim. From 1996 to 2002, he worked also as a story analyst for television.
