Vanessa Macedo

Vanessa Macedo is a Masters in Documentary Filmmaking graduate of the VCA in Melbourne, Australia. In Berlin, she has been working with refugees/migrants using photography and video as a form of empowerment and also as a way for newcomers to tell their stories and express themselves. A fan of collaborative projects, she is currently co-filmmaking a documentary where migrants/refugees are not just subjects, but co-authors and co-directors of the process and the work.
