Ashutosh Singla

Ashutosh Singla, M.Sc., has been working as a PhD student in the AVT Group at TU Ilmenau since September 2016. His research interests include image and video coding/processing, deep learning and improve/provide Quality of Experience (QoE) in immersive multimedia technologies. Currently, he is working on evaluation and improvement of QoE in head-mounted displays. He received his M.Sc degree in Communications Engineering from RWTH Aachen in May 2015 with a Master’s thesis on HEVC video coding optimization (Prof. Jens Rainer Ohm).
