Therese KoppeStudent / Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF
Born in Berlin in 1985, Therese Koppe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Film from the University Jena in 2011. She was Assistant Director in the State Theatre Jena under Moritz Schönecker in 2012 and, Programme Assistant at Documentarist Documentary Days in Istanbul/Turkey in 2013. She did her M.A. Graduation in Documentary Practice with Prof. Dr. Alisa Lebow in London and was Research Assistant at Royal College of Art London in 2013-2014. In 2015 she was a Co-Curator for the Exhibition 77#13 Resistance in the Art in Turkey at neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst (nGbK) Berlin. Since 2015, Therese pursues her M.A. in Directing Documentary at Filmuniversity Konrad Wolf. Since 2014, she has done freelance work in film and photography. Therese lived and worked in Turkey, the UK, Russia and South Korea.
